DETAILS
ALG Worldwide was contacted by an Asset Management company that specializes in sensitive banking equipment. Banking assets are sensitive due to FDIC Regulations that must be observed when handling the transportation of the equipment. Normally the Asset Management company has months to plan asset recoveries from banks however in this case they were given a weeks’ notice to find qualified technicians, and carrier that could uninstall the banking equipment, secure and transport the sensitive information. Once de-installation was completed, they were required to get this equipment from the branch location to the FDIC authorized carrier. Knowing they were going to be pressed for time, they wanted to focus their time finding the right techs, so they reached out to ALG’s Expert Problem Solvers to handle the transportation and logistics from branch to authorized carrier. Having worked on much larger projects for this customer, ALG’s Expert Problem Solvers were familiar with the pickup and drop off requirements and already had vetted carriers in place. The ALG team were only left to find 2 qualified carriers for remote locations. Unlike all other projects these were all required to be done on the same day at the same time. The ALG Worldwide Control Tower watched each pickup and drop off closely to verify that all regulations were being observed. They remained in constant contact with the Customer via a Bridge-line, so the customer could have instant notification of pick up and drop off. Drivers all arrived at the pick-up locations at the scheduled time to begin loading the equipment into secured vehicles to transport to the drop off locations. At the end of the day our customer thanked the ALG Control Tower and Expert Problem solvers for their hard work. “Each driver was there on time and executed the plan flawlessly.” We didn’t do anything special, Just our Jobs.
