DETAILS
ALG Worldwide was contacted by Fortune 500 company with an emergency. Their distributor had delivered frozen food product to their client’s restaurants and a shortage was found at multiple locations in the state of Arizona and New Mexico. This was discovered late on a Friday morning and the popular restaurant chain was having a nationwide roll out of a new menu item starting with dinner on Saturday. ALG Worldwides Perishable Shipping Experts sprang into action. An ALG Worldwide driver was dispatched to pick up the frozen meat items with a temperature-controlled truck. Once pick-up was completed, they returned to the Food Safe Terminal where the product was packed with dry ice and perishable safe containers to keep the product frozen past delivery. Once packed, each box was properly marked to reflect that dry ice way contained in the appropriate amount for each package. ALG Worldwides Perishable Shipping Experts secured space on the planes which would transport the materials to their destinations. Airline Airway bills were properly completed to make sure that the shipments were kept refrigerated when not in flight. ALG Worldwides Control Tower made sure each of the packages made it on the selected flights and once they arrived at the designated Airports, ALG Worldwide drivers were waiting for the packages to become available and promptly deliver them to the eight locations since some of the locations were in excess of 150 miles from the Airport. Drivers ensured that the boxes maintained proper temperature all the way to delivery. Each package arrived to the Restaurant Chain in good order, still at temperature with more than enough time to prepare them for the dinner rush.
