DETAILS
ALG Worldwide was contacted by one of the Top Fortune 500 Companies that provide medical equipment to in-home medical supply companies. They had a crate of sensitive personal sized medical equipment and supplies that needed to be picked up from their warehouse and deliver to an in-home medical retailer. This equipment was needed to replace lifesaving in-home equipment that was nearing end of warranty. Not only were these replacements, they were also the latest state of the art machines. Due to the delicate nature of the equipment, there was specific protocol that needed to be maintained. ALG Worldwide dispatched a driver to pick up the equipment, he was equipped with 2 Tip and Tell monitors which he affixed to the crate and skid. Tip and Tell Monitors will activate if the equipment receives rough handling during transport. The ALG partner carrier responsible to transport across the country was made aware of the delicate handling and Tip and Tell monitoring to ensure that all protocol was maintained. The medical equipment was then line-hauled across the country. Upon arrival, the truck was unloaded, the Tip and Tell was inspected to make sure it was not activated and then the shipment was loaded on an ALG Worldwide delivery truck for final delivery. Medical company signed off all in good order. In-home patients will now receive the latest lifesaving in-home equipment and can rest easy.
